Inverter Air Conditioner
I first heard about inverter air conditioner from a paid post. I don’t have the slightest idea about it and since I have to write about it, I read some articles and wikis about inverter air con. It took me an hour or so before I finally understood what is the difference between inverter air con and the traditional one. It all boils down to compressor. Technically, I am still at lost, but in a way, I knew something about how it can decrease our electricity usage. It has something to do with compressors, a term that I still have to learn.
The farthest I can go with compressors is the fact that it is the one responsible for temperature control. It is the one responsible to make our rooms cooler or warmer. The compressor turns on to meet the desired temperature and when it does, it turns off. That is how it works in typical air conditioner. In an air conditioner with inverter compressor technology, instead of shutting of and starting every time it needs to change the temperature, it just slows down. That is the main reason why inverter air cons consume less energy.
Best Hemorrhoids Treatment
My friend has been looking for best hemorrhoids treatment for their dad. They have been trying home remedies to ease their dad’s pain but now, they think it would be best to give him proper treatment. They say that having hemorrhoids is not easy specially when you are always sitting. But can somebody explain to me why eating chili is a no no to people suffering from hemorrhoid?
All I know about hemorrhoids is that it is cause by bacteria. I think I need to learn more about it and how to prevent it.
Couples Corner: BFF
I can say without a doubt that my husband is my best friend. He is the only one who knows me inside and out, literally inside and out. I can say anything to him, from my dreams to my fears. He knows the marce club, he knows how I feel about blogging. He knows when I am up. We talk about everything. I can’t keep a secret to him and I know he can’t keep a thing from me too. We know each other so well that even before we speak, we already know what the other wants to say.
I am very lucky to have a man like that.
When we started out our relationship, it has been very clear that we would not keep secrets from each other. We started out as friends so even before that, we already knew our past. So when we became an item, secrecy is a word that never exist in our vocabulary. Sometimes I feel weird on how open we can be to each other. LOL
Tomato Season
It’s Tomato season once again. I learned from my experience that tomatoes grows from January to April. Plant a tomato in January and you will harvest it around March to April. Last year, I was able to plant some on my small garden and harvested a lot of tomatoes. A tree can give you more than a kilo of tomatoes. This year, I forgot to plant one last January, makes me wish I had. Our family loves tomato, we put it in almost every dishes I prepare.
My mom says that in out province, tomato growers can even avail of health savings account from their tomato earnings. She says that during tomato season, farmers harvest a lot of tomato from their farms. I won’t have that much tomato since I only have a small piece of land to plant tomatoes, but still, there is much big difference on eating your home grown tomatoes from market bought tomatoes.
Chores That I Love
And if I dislike dish washing, I love doing the laundry. I get a high whenever I wash our dirty clothes. And I can do tons of dirty clothes in a a few hours only. Beat that. I told, that’s my favorite thing to do. When I was a child and we used to wash our clothes in the river. It was fun to me then, it seems like every time we will wash our clothes, we are going on a picnic. My favorite term then was “maglalaba sa ilog” (will wash the laundry on the river), it is synonymous to FUN. Grandma will wake us up early and tell us to prepare our clothes. They would bring breakfast and we all head to the nearest river. While they wash our dirty clothes, me and my sisters will play along the sand and swim on the river. It was one of my fondest memory in our province.
Maybe, that is the reason why I love doing the laundry. When it comes to hanging the clothes to dry, I have to excuse myself. Too much sun can damage my skin. I can’t have more acne. Though there are more and more adult acne treatments available in the market. Prevention is always better than cure. So after I am done doing the laundry, I will call my helper (oh yes, even though I have two helpers now, I still wash our clothes) to hang the clothes outside.
Washing The Dishes
If there is one household chore that I hate so much, that is washing the dishes. Dishwasher is not a necessary appliance, to most people it’s luxury and to oldies, it means being lazy. When I was a kid, my grandmother forces us to do the dishes, I guess that is the reason why now, I don’t like doing it. It reminds of my childhood (which is not that good) and reminds me how it feels being in prison. I know it’s not a big deal of a chore, but sometimes, I don’t feel like doing it. But I do not have a choice. I think I was too young to be exposed to such thinking that if you can’t do anything about just accept it.
And so I grew up with so much dislike to dish washing. Last year when I have no helper yet, our dirty dishes piles up in our kitchen sink. And if we have nothing more to use, that is the only time that I will wash it. I was so stressed out with it that my face needed anti aging face cream.Yes, my face looked a lot older than my age because of dirty dishes piling in our kitchen sink. I almost resort to using plastic cups and plastic papers, if not for my love for the environment. Good thing now, I have two helpers, so dish washing is the least on my worries. What’s my favorite house chore? That will be the topic of my next post.
Couples Corner: WFH
I am so sorry Marce Liz, I am so late in posting my entry this week. It says we have to talk about work, work and work. Or do we have? Er, reading it again, Liz says that this entry is not about work but if we as a couple talk about our jobs as the day ends.
Hubby is a software developer and he always say that his first love is the pc (and now mac LOL). It is seldom that you will see him not in front of his PC. And since I started blogging, I am too is always on the computer. Would you believe that sometimes, we would send ims to each other, even though we were just some meters away from each other. It’s not that we were busy to talk to each other, it’s a play thing for us. He would buzz and ask for a date when in fact he is just in our bedroom. It was really fun. And so do we talk about our jobs? Yes, specially if there is something trivial or funny on his job. On my part, he knows everything that is happening in blogniverse, how much paid post I have or how much will be on my paypal.
It really is important that couples update each other about their job. Specially to couples where the husband work in an office, you have to know how much stressed he is so you’ll know how to treat it. Maybe a little hair play will do (now, what kind of hair, go ask Marce Liz).
Another DVD
I think I will be needing another DVD player. We only have one and that one is in our bedroom. Downstairs, we have a small TV and broken DVD. Why do we need a DVD downstairs? I need that so I can do my aerokaebo. It’s a good carbo workout. Oh yes, I am here again, trying to lose weight. I know there are a lot of best weight loss supplements in the market and I am dying to use them but I still can’t. I am still breastfeeding so the next best thing for me is to burn fat, burn fat, burn fat. So DVD, here I come!
Water Update
The man who cut our service yesterday came back today and reconnect it. Apparently, they just put a tiny round plastic to stop the water from the main pipe (I was about to type tube LOL). It took him less than 5 minutes to reconnect it. So I asked the man, if that plastic round thing is the one that cost us $10. And he said no, it us not paying on time. I am, I know. But I am not that rude all the time. I remember once when someone knocked on our door to discuss about cheap insurance. I let them in and listened to what they have to say. But the one who cut our service was different, he was really rude to start with. Imagine he even asked if we have water supply when in fact he was the one who cut it the other day. How dumb can he be?
So you think I will let this pass. I even told him that I know now the reason why they charge us so high for reconnection fee, because the tools they use are all brand new and stainless steel.
I will never let this happen again.
Memory Loss
How forgetful can we be? Last month we did not pay our water bill because we can’t find the bill. Then this month in our bill it says that we have to pay the months consumption in order to prevent them form the cutting their service with us. My bad, since I was busy researching for medical coding training courses for a friend, it slip my mind. It so happens that we should pay our bill on the 14th to prevent them from cutting the service. SO the next day, April 15, when we got back from Paula’s birthday party, we were shocked to learned that they cut our water service. Oh my!
Immediately we paid our bill and yeah we have to pay for their reconnection fee which is $10. Hubby called their service center and he was furious to learned that it will take them 5 days to reconnect our service. Oh yes, we paid $10 to wait for 5 days.
