The first time I told my mom that I would be implementing uniform for my next house help, she was shocked. It is not in our culture to have maid in uniforms, maybe for upper class but not for us middle class. In fact, I used to frown when I see helpers wearing uniform like nursing scrubs. Now, I realized the need for helpers to be in uniform. It helps them to know where they really stand and be more professional in their field.
When I had my maids before, they can wear whatever they want. And as always, most of their clothes give me head aches. It’s either too short or too think that you can almost see the color of the bra they are wearing. Everyday, I tell them to wear a more appropriate clothes. it is not as simple as that though. I have to be very careful choosing the words I will use, you know how maids are, most of them are really sensitive.
Now that I made a decision, I want to know where to buy cheap scrubs for my future house helpers.
