The first thing you need is light. Especially in the winter, proper light for plants is scarce in a house. Regular incandescent bulbs will not cut it because they do not produce the right kind of light and they don’t produce enough of it either way. You should look into replacing all of your incandescent bulbs with either compact fluorescent lamps or, better yet, LED lights. Both are more efficient, in regards to energy consumptions, and produce better light than standard bulbs. They both also have much longer potential working lives than incandescent bulbs. LED lights have the added advantage of containing no glass that can break and cut you but they need to be in much larger arrays than CFL bulbs to get the same lumens. All in all CFL bulbs win out.

The next thing you need to think about is potting your plants. You can go the simple route and get some large planters and fill them with a proper planting mix for what you are trying to grow if you want to stay simple. If you want to step up from there, you can get an automatic drip feeding and watering system. This cuts out the tedious task of scheduling watering times and making sure that you don’t miss any. You should also look into getting a timer for your CFL and LED light bulbs so that your plants get the right amount of light for their needs. Every plant is different so do your research and enjoy vegetables all year round. I like hot peppers, personally.

When you say green living, you will have to lessen the use of appliances that omits harmful gas. Not only that, you will also have to start looking for products that are manufactured the green way. So what does it mean when you see products that is labelled as eco friendly, items such as cortech sport tail bag? It only means that the production of this items/ products omits less gas than the production of ordinary items. If you have heard of green pots or eco friendly casseroles, those are cooking materials manufactured with less gas emission.

So if you really want to start green living, use items that are manufactured the green way. Well, I am not telling that you ditch your old casseroles or household items, but you know if you are planning to buy new items, please choose wisely.

Deciding the place. It’s really hard to look for the best property that suits you and your family’s need. So that is the first one for me, deciding where you want to live. Some people says that it comes last and the price is more important, to me it is the location that is the priority. Of course if you will be starting a family and you are planning to buy a property, it only means that you will be staying on that place for a long period of time. It is very important that the place and the location you will choose offers the kind of lifestyle that you want and offers the amenities that you need.

Another thing you need to consider is the size of the property in relation to your capability to buy it. If you have a large family, you might want to consider a bigger purchase. It is also important that you determine the type and the structure of the house. Always remember that when you buy a property, yuo will be living there for a long time if not for a lifetime.

Buying a house with a spa or putting a spa in your house, should not add stress on the homeowner, after all the mere reason why anyone would want a spa is to relax.

Bed frames have different sizes. The size ranges from single which typically measure 36×75 feet. There’s twin bed which measures 48×75 inches. Next is Queen size which is 54 inches by 75 inches and the last one is king size which usually measures 75×78. inches. The length of bed is mostly 75 inches but in some countries it can go to as long as 78 inches and 80 inches. The sizes of single bed to queen size are standards in most country where as king size differs from different countries. California king size bed is  the largest measuring 72 inches by 84 inches.

When choosing bed frame, you have to consider your size and how you sleep. If you sleep like a log and never moves while sleeping, then a twin sized bed is ideal for you. But if you’re a mover, you may want to opt for a queen sized bed or a king sized. It follows that when buying the mattress for your bed frames it should be of the same size. Now the only thing you need to consider is the type of mattress that you will buy. Will you go for a spring mattress or foam mattress and how thick it should be. Deciding on the type of mattress is again up to your sleeping patter.

As i was looking at house for sale here in Pasig, I have seen a lot and noticed that the prize ranges are almost the same. A house and lot with an area of 100-140 and house are of 100-120 usually costs 3 million pesos and most of theses house have wooden cabinets and not metal cabinets. A house with 4-6 bedrooms is at 6-8 million pesos and houses with swimming pools usually starts at 10 million pesos. Considering the proximity of the place to malls and business center, I can say that house and lot for sale here in Pasig are being sold just right.

I think customized house decorations are nice presents. If asked to attend a housewarming party, you can customize a picture frame that will fit to the personality of the host. Another great gift to give are kitchen essentials, though house owners already bought their kitchen essentials even before their house is complete, one can always be thankful for an extra set if knives or extra set of casseroles

There are house owners who also register n gift registry, ask them if they have a list and try to buy what is in
the list.

You can also buy a gift certificate of their favorite home some and give it to them as a present.

As for me, the best present can receive if ever I will host a housewarming party is the presence of my friends.

The first thing that I canvass was bed. I saw a double deck bed in a department store, 8000 PhP, mattress not included. The I browsed on the web and saw really nice double deck and cost a bit less than the one I saw in the department store:

All these beds are a little above 7000PhP.

I have thinking if I will get a double deck or a pull out bed for the kids. Double deck is very practical and space saver but the boys move a lot when they are asleep and I am afraid whoever sleeps on the upper bed might fall. Pull out bed is not that much of a space saver and it might not survive the pull and push activity but I guess this is a safer choice.

I also have to make way for the Mega Blocs which I plan to use as toy cabinet. If the boys room is finished, I will have enough space for another closet or cabinet where I can place my titanium bracelet and jewelries as well as my other things.

I receive this as a gift last December and I was very happy about it. I admit I am not a picture person, in fact we don’t even have a picture frame here on the house.. but this one so beautiful and I intend to keep it until I have a use on it.

Well, the main reason why we do not have picture frames is because of the kids. It would just be too risky to put frames on the wall or on the table. The kids are all rowdy and it might break down. But if I have my own house, I will designate a place with picture frames on it.. hmm, maybe in time I might even collect picture frames from different places and countries.
